Q What kind of wood does Kid-Gymz® use?
A Kid-Gymz® uses only the highest quality Cedar. Q Is there any chemical treatment used to preserve the wood? A Cedar is naturally resistant to rot and insect damage. A water based stain is used to enhance the beauty of the wood. Q How much maintenance is required for the Kid-Gymz? A All Kid- Gymz® are pre-stained and sealed from the factory. However,we do recommend future applications be applied to maintain the wood’s natural beauty. Q How much weight will the Kid-Gymz support? A Kid-Gymz® are designed for children yet strong enough for adults. Q My yard is not level. Can I still install an Kid-Gymz®? A Yes! We have a unique leveling system which enables you to customize your Kid-Gymz to accommodate most property conditions. Get more information about our Leveling System Q What if we move? A All Kid-Gymz® are movable.They can be disassembled and then reassembled at your new home. Q Are surface cracks and checking in the wood normal? A Yes! It is a natural characteristic of any outdoor wood product and will not effect the structural integrity of the jungle gym. Q Will the slide get hot from the sun? A All slides are made with U.V. Protectors which prohibit the absorption of the sun’s heat and it also help to prevent the color from fading. However, darker colored slides will retain more heat. Q Are your Jungle Gyms anchored to the ground? A All Kid-Gymz® utilize a unique ground support system which distributes weight evenly to ensure strength and stability. Wooden stakes are provided for extra stability.
